In 2012, I was working as a baker, running my own little tea room. My days were long, hot, and repetitive. And like many entrepreneurs, I craved something more.

One day, I came across the classic advert we’ve all seen: some smiling guy promising “$1000 a day” with no effort.

I ignored it at first, but the idea stuck. I’ve always been drawn to business, and the thought of earning online while breaking free from the bakery grind was intoxicating.

So I jumped in.

In 2019, I created a standalone course called The Simple Traffic Blueprint. It was built around one idea: the most beginner-friendly way to make money online was not complicated funnels or expensive ads, it was using YouTube to create simple videos that actually solved problems.

This course struck a chord. More than 2,000 people bought it, and for many, it was their first time making money online.

But what mattered most to me was the feedback. People were relieved that someone was finally showing them a clear, no-nonsense approach instead of drowning them in tech or hype.

In 2020, I followed it up with The Advanced Traffic Blueprint. This wasn’t about “getting rich quick”, it was about learning how to create real product reviews, drive traffic to affiliate offers, and build an audience the honest way.

ATB was built around transparency, even if that meant saying, “This will take you months and years, not days.”

Then in early 2021, I launched The Simple SEO Blueprint. SEO had always been a game-changer for me, free traffic that compounds over time, and I wanted to make it accessible to beginners.

More than 600 people joined in the first week. Again, not because it was glamorous, but because it worked.

During those years, I realised something important. People weren’t failing because they were lazy. They were failing because they were overwhelmed, misled, and chasing systems that were never designed to help them.

My job was to cut through the noise and give them a clear, focused path.

In 2019, I launched my very first coaching group. Over the three years it ran, more than 50 people joined. But this was not just another program on Zoom or a string of calls. I wanted to prove how deeply committed I was to their success.

So I made a decision that shocked most people, I travelled around the world to meet many of these students in person, covering every cost myself.

It was one of the most eye-opening experiences of my life. For the first time, I got to sit across the table from the people I had been coaching online.

I listened to their stories, their struggles, their frustrations, and their small wins. I saw with my own eyes what failure actually looks and feels like when it belongs to someone else.

The truth is, failure is universal, but it never looks the same. Some people carried it with quiet frustration. Others wore it openly with tears or anger.

Everyone felt the same process of stumbling and falling, but each person experienced it in their own unique way.

Those three years of coaching taught me more than any course, book, or program I had ever taken. I learned as much from my students as they did from me. I saw what holds people back, what pushes them forward, and how mindset, discipline, and resilience can change everything.

Some of those students went on to make many thousands of dollars online. Others struggled and never quite broke through.

Both groups taught me lessons that I still carry today. Coaching was never about chasing numbers.

It was about connection, growth, and seeing what really happens when people put themselves on the line to build something of their own.

In 2021, I did something that surprised even me. I went back to being a student.

I joined Jon Penberthy’s Platinum Mastermind, a 12-month program focused on scaling from six figures to seven.

It was humbling. I’d already built a name for myself, but this reminded me that no matter how far you go, there’s always more to learn.

Scaling is hard. Growth is uncomfortable. But pushing myself into that discomfort gave me the tools I needed to not just survive, but to grow.

By 2023, I was restless again, not in business, but in life.

I sold my home, gave away nearly everything I owned, and left the UK to become a digital nomad.

It wasn’t an easy decision. It meant walking away from stability, from family, and from the comfort of the familiar.

But it also meant freedom. The chance to live on my own terms, to explore the world, and to build my business without the weight of the UK tax system dragging me down.

Since then, I’ve worked from Italy’s cobbled streets, Greece’s ancient ruins, Serbia’s riversides, Thailand’s buzzing cities, and Vietnam’s chaotic motorbike jungles.

I’ve hiked through Bulgaria’s mountains, wandered Oman’s deserts, and soaked in the cultural clash of Turkey.

It’s not all sunshine and Instagram moments.

Some nights I’ve sat alone in a small room, battling dodgy WiFi, missing family, and questioning if I made the right choice. Nomad life gives you freedom, but it also forces you to confront yourself in ways you never expect.

That struggle is part of the story. And it’s the same in business. Freedom doesn’t come easy. But it’s worth it.

In early 2024, I made one of the biggest business decisions of my life. I moved Taking Action Online’s base to Dubai.

This wasn’t about palm trees and luxury. It was about strategy.

The UK system was suffocating - heavy taxes, endless restrictions, and layers of bureaucracy. Dubai offered me a way to run my business with simplicity, lower taxes, and more freedom to invest and grow.

The decision wasn’t easy. Leaving the UK completely meant closing a chapter of my life. But I’ve always believed in building the future instead of clinging to the past.

Now in 2025, I’ve lived and worked across more than a dozen countries.

Each place has left its mark. Italy’s rhythm taught me to slow down. Vietnam’s chaos taught me resilience. Indonesia’s calm reminded me why I started this journey in the first place - freedom.

But no matter where I’ve been, the mission hasn’t changed.

Taking Action Online is still alive, still updated, and still helping beginners cut through the lies and start building something real.

Because I know how it feels to waste years chasing shortcuts. I know how much it hurts to lose money you couldn’t afford to lose. I know what it’s like to stay up until 3 a.m. working, only to feel like you’re getting nowhere.

That’s why I’ll never sell you hype. I’ll never promise you easy riches. And I’ll never stand in front of rented cars pretending to be someone I’m not.

What I will do is give you a path that works. A system built for real people with real struggles.

Something you can follow step by step, even if you’re starting from nothing.
